Is it possible to have too many pictures of children? I hope not. :) Because this post has pics of children. I've mentioned the house where we had most of our meals. And I've called it "Manoj's house/home." And it is that. But it is so much more. Other people live in the same building. Plus he and his fiancee operate a Christian school for children there. So of course, we nosy Americans had to go and poke our noses in there. Well, we had some suckers for them too and that got the children excited. But as we were there, they put together an impromptu program for us with a few children of different ages performing in song.
Shilu, Manoj's fiancee, directs the school. I tried really hard to get a good pic of the Downs syndrome boy on the front row. None of my close-ups turned out in focus. So this is the best I could do.
This little girl is singing a beautiful duet of a Christian praise chorus. Her singing partner, across the room, is a Muslim girl.
I don't recall why Jim and Dean were not present for this visit. We had lunch just down the hall from here. But for some forgotten reason they were involved elsewhere (shopping?) while Mike and I had the joy of visiting the children.
