Tomorrow by this time I will be approaching Chicago, on my way to India again! Yes, I'm excited. Hardly slept at all last night. Woke up at 1:00a.m. Tossed and turned until about 2:30. Gave up and got up. Been going since then. Actually not much more to do. Just killing time now. BW as usual helped in getting me ready. She helped so much you'd think she was eager for me to go. But I know that's not the case. I will be gone 20 days. She'll take me into hotel by the airport this evening. (Becky coming along because BW still only has her learner's permit to drive.) Then I catch a plane at 8:26am, transfer to Lufthansa in Chicago and again in Frankfurt am Main, then on to Mumbai. 10 hour layover there before heading on to Jodhpur.
That is the same city where I spent a full week last time I went (1 1/2 yrs ago). I'm traveling with 3 other men from the Canby/Hubbard area. Mike and I will go to Jodhpur for just the weekend. Pastors' conference Sat morning and Bible College graduation that afternoon. Preach Sun morning and fly out that afternoon. In addition to seeing some of the students from my previous visit, I'm eager to see Raju and Sini's new baby--their first--a boy named Joshua.
Sunday evening we fly to Bihar, a state in NE India, then a 2 hour drive to Muzzafarpur. Teach for a week, including an overnight visit to at least a couple villages for regional conferences. Sat., 28th, another Bible College graduation and preach again the following morning. Then back to the capitol city to catch a train to Nagpur.
This another destination where I visited last time. This time I get to stay on campus at the Theological Seminary & College. And I will participate (read: "present") in a series of seminars on Transforming India.
Early morning (2:30am) on Friday, April 3, I fly back to Frankfurt. BW's sister and niece live near there. They will meet me and I'll spend Palm Sunday weekend with them. Then fly home on Monday April 6.
So keep checking back. As time and availability permit I will post here during the trip.
If you believe in the power of prayer, please pray!

You must know we are praying for you. May God keep you safe and give you a wonderful ministry in India.
Love you,
Cheri & Gale
So exciting that you have another opportunity to do the Lord's work in such a place of need. And it seems like a place that also gives a lot to people who visit there. -S
