Interesting segment of an interview. Chris Wallace of Fox News asks David Axelrod, an Obama advisor, about the times when Obama has challenged the leadership of his party. You might find this exchange interesting!
Do we dare to listen to it?

I wonder why you bring this up? Honestly, what is your point in adding it to the fray....you left no opionion, really.
Is a candidates ability to go against their party a high quality in a president? Is it really a characteristic we vote for our leaders upon?
When had our current leader gone against his party? And for as many times as both Palin and McCain have gone against their parties there are more incidents of them toeing the party line.
Whether we like it or not, we have a two party system that wields power, clout, and money (on both sides of the aisle), and in reality, no politician can be that far from the party (even those who have claimed themselves as Mavericks...when he was more of a maverick...he could not get the party nomination!).
There is my two cents.... -S
I think that was more than 2 cents from Sara, but that's a different issue ;-)
I was just going to tell you that I clicked to watch it and it's been removed, I guess. Can't watch it.
