I know that emotions come and go. I know I must not give great significance to them. I certainly do not make decisions based on emotions.
Still, I must take note of my emotions. I learned long ago to identify them.
Today, I feel very discouraged. I feel lost--wandering around in a fog.
That's all I have to say about that.

Almighty God, you have surrounded us with a great cloud of witnesses: Grant that we, encouraged by the good example of your servants known and unknown, may persevere in running the race that is set before us, until at last we may with Him attain to your eternal joy; through Jesus Christ, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
